    Description

This is an amazing set of cast Zinc Owl shooting targets from a New Jersey boardwalk, circa early 1900's. The owls are on a metal rod which we have mounted on an iron folk art stand. This very unique set has been painted a few times as there is a red under the white where they have been shot. The four smaller owls can spin on the rod while the large center owl is stationary. The smaller owls have a large counter weight on the bottom which appears to be filled with lead. They are in amazing condition with all parts, ears and horns intact. We found these in New Jersey and there were said to come from a board walk shooting gallery.
The owls are 34" long including the base and 19" high. The small owls are 10" high and the large owl is 11 5/8" high and 1 7/8" thick. The counter weights are 2 1/2" thick.
