Very rare bronze plaque (with velvet container) commemorating first non-stop flight by Capt. Charles A. Lindbergh May 20-21, 1927 Aeronautical Chamber of Commerce of America. Beautiful engraving if a biplane circumnavigating the globe on the other side with “Per Aspera Ad Astra” underneath. Robbins Company Medal (Attleboro, Mass.) By John Clements Gregory. JG (artist initials in lower left corner) Member of the society of Medalists. Original box included (though falling apart)
