This is a natural uranium sample that was found in the Lisbon Valley in Southeastern Utah.
The activity of this was checked using a Ludlum Model 14 with a 44-9 probe. The highest reading on one surface was 6,000 CPM (counts per minute).
Most of the activity coming off of this sample is mainly alpha and beta, which can be blocked by glass or plastic. Since this is natural uranium it has other naturally occurring isotopes part of the uranium decay chain. So there is a tiny amount of naturally occurring radium in there that gives off some gamma.
The rocks will be properly labeled
and will be wrapped to comply fully
with USPS post office regulations.

rocks can be shipped only within the
USA

USPS and the federal Nuclear
Regulatory Commission.
